Events
Throughout the year the San Marcos Education Foundation hosts several fundraising events. These events aid in our mission to provide resources for the SMCISD as well as allowing us to expand community involvement from individuals, businesses and civic organizations. Additionally, we are pleased to sponsor an event to recognize SMCISD distinguished alumni and one that celebrates San Marcos High School distinguished scholars. It is our pleasure to coordinate these events and celebrate the successes of these individuals.
Distinguished Alumni
The purpose of the Distinguished Alumni Award event is to recognize and honor former graduates of San Marcos High School whose achievements, strength of character, and citizenship serve as models to inspire and challenge today's youth.
SMEF Gala 2024
The 2nd Annual San Marcos Education Foundation Gala is May 3, 2024. This event honors the hard work and dedication of the employees of San Marcos CISD!
Distinguished Scholars
The Distinguished Scholar program is an event sponsored by the SMEF to recognize the top 10% of seniors graduating from the San Marcos High School. This event also recognizes outstanding educators as each distinguished scholar is asked to identify an educator who has made the most positive influence on his or her education.
Aim High for Education Skeet Shoot 2024
This annual event features a 12-station shooting course, flurry competition,1st, 2nd, and 3rd place best team prizes, and a multiple prize raffle drawing.
